What We Do

     Our goal is to offer seniors and those with disabilities the items they need to live comfortably in their own home or apartment. We provide them with a wide range of items that they can not afford to buy for themselves.

     Many are living well below the poverty level and in dire need of life's basic necessities. We donate to qualifying clients towels and washcloths, hygiene kits, bed linens, blankets, clocks, radios, electric fans, telephones, dinner ware, books, emergency kits, reading lamps, nonskid throw rugs, nonallergenic cleaning  supplies, cooking utensils, microwave ovens, toasters, toaster ovens, small televisions, small refrigerators, portable shopping carts and aids for the hearing and visually impaired.

         In 2005,  based in            San Francisco, California and funded entirely by contributions from retired seniors, the project expanded to the extent where it became necessary to incorporate as a nonprofit thus forming Golden Gate Senior Fellowship, Inc.

  For many the "Golden Years" are far from "Golden". Unfortunately, many of todays homebound seniors and disabled are forced to live a life without the simple things. They most often have to choose between paying for their medications and utility bills or buying life's necessities. Many seniors and disabled are living without the things that most of us take for granted. When you do something small it can change the life of someone forever.
